In response to the challenges faced by numerous mothers lacking proper spaces for breastfeeding in public place, an initiative was undertaken by our NGO to establish a Baby Feeding Centre at Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Care Hospital. This endeavor aimed to create a supportive environment for mothers, ensuring a dedicated and comfortable space for feeding their babies. By addressing this need, the initiative sought to contribute to a more inclusive and nurturing community for mothers and their infants.
To keep the fire of patriotism burning in the hearts of our members, we celebrate
ART BEYOND SIGHT
the two major National days of India by hoisting our National Flag. We celebrate these days with all our Blind & needy members by arranging a small get-to-gather and providing entertain-ment. We start the program with a salute to our National Flag and singing our Na-
tional Anthem. Later on, meals & Food-grain Kits are also distributed.
As we all know couples are made in heaven and marriages are forever. We support group marriages of this low income group of blind people & needy.
We see to it that both, bride, groom agree to get married with their family's consent. "BEING SEVAK CHARITABLE TRUST" supports marriages of specially abled, Blind & Needy Groups without any reservation of any caste or creed.
Starting April 2020, Being Sevak Charitable Trust has organized programs of distribution of foodgrain Kits through mission Annapurna every weekend for those suffering from hunger due to the massive lockdown in the country. We also appreciated corona warriors like Doctors, Nurses, other hospital staff, Sweepers etc. who gave a very helping hand in fighting this Pandemic without worrying about themselves.
Sevak team also visited Slums area to educate them about the safety measured to be taken to fight against covid-19, importance of social distancing and also distributed Sanitizers, Face Masks, Hand gloves etc.
