MISSION ANNAPURNA
Fight Against Hunger
The "Annapurna Mission: Fight against Hunger" is an NGO initiative dedicated to addressing the critical issue of malnutrition within low-income segments of society. The Mission's core mission is to combat hunger and malnutrition through a two-fold approach:
Healthy Cooked Food for Underprivileged Children:
One key component of the Annapurna Mission is the provision of nutritious cooked meals to underprivileged children. This addresses the immediate needs of children who are often most vulnerable to malnutrition. By ensuring they receive regular, healthy meals, the Mission aims to improve their overall health and well-being.
Dry Ration Kits for Visually Impaired Individuals
The Annapurna Mission recognizes that visually impaired individuals face unique challenges in accessing food and nutrition. To support them, the Mission distributes dry ration kits containing essential food items that are easy to handle and prepare. This assistance empowers visually impaired individuals to maintain their nutritional needs independently. The Mission's overarching goal is to eradicate malnutrition in the targeted communities by providing sustained access to nourishing food. By addressing the immediate nutritional needs of underprivileged children and visually impaired individuals, the Annapurna Mission aspires to create a healthier and more equitable society.
This Mission depends on the support of generous donors, volunteers, and partnerships with local communities to fulfill its mission of fighting hunger and malnutrition among those who need it most. Ngo took a firm stand to support these members and their families by providing FREE FOOD-GRAIN KITS. This kit is divided into 3 different categories; large, medium & small. We provide this kit as per the capacity of SEVAK.
