Project Vidhya, known as the "Fight against Illiteracy," is a dedicated effort aimed at raising awareness among disabled and underprivileged children about the critical importance of education. Under the umbrella of this project, the Vidhya NGO actively adopts schools and reaches out to children in slum areas with the central mission of fostering their overall personal development. A key aspect of this initiative involves the distribution of "Joy of Learning Kits" to children in need, providing them with valuable educational resources and tools. Moreover, Project Vidhya extends its support to ensure that these children have access to education and the necessary assistance to pursue it. The ultimate objective of this project is to empower and transform the lives of these children by equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive through education. The NGO has established a Digital Education and Skills Development Centre with a multifaceted mission. This center is dedicated to providing education and skill development opportunities for a diverse group of beneficiaries, including disabled individuals, underprivileged children, and females in need. The services offered encompass a wide range of areas, such as: 1. Basic Computer Education: Providing fundamental computer literacy and digital skills, enabling the beneficiaries to navigate the digital world. 2. English Speaking: Offering English language training to enhance communication skills and expand educational and employment opportunities. 3. Cooking: Teaching culinary skills that can be both a life skill and a potential source of income. 4. Dance: Encouraging artistic expression and physical activity through dance classes. 5. Sewing and Stitching: Imparting sewing and stitching skills for creative expression and potential livelihood opportunities.
